We’re looking for 250 adults across the UK to join us for a pilot study aiming to make nature connection a regular part of your day. Whether you’re employed, freelance, or currently not working, this programme is open to those who are passionate about exploring the benefits of a nature-first approach.

✓ Pathways to Nature Connection: Weekly newsletters designed specifically for this pilot will guide you on how to maximise your time outdoors.
✓ Talk and Walk: Connect with others through outdoor meet-ups and occasional online talks.
✓ Stay Informed: Join our WhatsApp group to keep up-to-date with outdoor opportunities in your area.
✓ Employee Support: If you're employed, we'll help you pitch the idea to your manager, with resources to advocate for the programme both before and after the pilot. If you enjoy the experience, we'll provide you with a narrative to propose this as a team or company-wide initiative.
✓ Freelancers: Explore options for incorporating this time into your billable hours—let’s discuss how to make it work for you.
WHAT DO WE NEED YOU TO DO:
Help us prove the need for a nature-first workforce

Dedicate 2-3 hours per week for 6 weeks to connecting with nature—how you do it is up to you.

Complete a pre- and post-programme survey to help us measure the impact of nature connection and identify any barriers.

If schedules allow, we’d love to interview you to dig deeper into your experience. What went well, what was harder and how can we improve.

This is just the first of many experiments to guide us towards embedding nature into our working week. After this individual experiment, we have a organisational pilot that starts in 2025 and we need a community of champions to help us convince leaders that this is a new way forward. OUR POSITION
This pilot will help us understand what it takes to make nature connection a habit. We also want to know how effective time in nature is at reducing stress, boosting wellbeing and fostering a proactive approach to environmental action. If you don't make it past week 3, that's okay! We’re interested in understanding what the blockers are so we can create future programmes that make the transition easier and more impactful.
Ultimately, we aim to build a community of champions for our nature-first movement. Are you ready to join us?
