Our approach
From personal benefits like improved health, wellbeing and sleep, to business gains in productivity and creativity—if time in nature can achieve all this, as well as increased pro-environmental behaviours, why not combine these impacts in a single, company-wide initiative?
The issue
Despite countless studies telling us that spending time in nature has huge benefits to our personal and professional life, and instinctively feeling better when we are outside, we haven’t connected the dots on a day-to-day basis.
Our take
We believe that the foundation of any future-facing workforce is one where people and planet exist in harmony. Right now, there’s a disconnect which is why we’re exploring what a sustainable future of work looks like with nature leading the way.
Our plan
Through our individual and organisational pilots and follow-on programmes, we want to help leaders and employees make regular time in nature not just a habit but the norm. So far, the science is promising. Research has shown that 2-3 hours of exposure is effective, but they have yet to explore the impact over a prolonged period and as a workplace initiative. If you can help us prove our hypothesis, we will have an even stronger case to transform the way our working weeks are structured.
